Over the years, the company has grown to become one of the largest brokerage firms in the United States, with over 29 million active brokerage accounts and $7.7 trillion in client assets as of September 2021.

In addition to serving retail clients, Schwab also provides services to financial firms and advisors that manage funds for their own clients. The Advisor Services team at Schwab is dedicated to developing products and solutions that help advisors manage their clients' finances more efficiently.

Storefront offers a wide range of investment options, including mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts. Advisors can use Storefront to research and compare investment products, build customized portfolios, and monitor performance. Guaranteed Rate - "Lightning App"

Guaranteed Rate (GR) is a mortgage and finance company based out of Chicago that offers fully digital experiences to their customers. As their customer base and digital products continued to grow, GR wanted to expand into the mobile realm with their “Lightning App”. The goal of the Lightning App was to provide a one-stop-shop mobile application for customers to access all their GR financial products, pay their balances, track their credit scores, and apply for mortgages, loans, and credit cards. As the Lead UX Researcher for Guaranteed Rate, I conducted a usability test of the Lightning App prototype with 100 users. The goal of the study was to identify areas of improvement in the app's usability and identify pain points experienced by users.

KP - ePIMS Pharmacy Software

In 2018, Kaiser Permanente was given a grant to redesign their Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician software used at all their pharmacy locations. The software allows the users to place, receive, process, manage, and deliver prescription orders and hadn’t been updated in nearly a decade.

As the UX Researcher, I performed an in-depth user experience discovery phase. Discovery included user shadowing, contextual inquiry, interviews, stakeholder interviews, and deconstruction of the ePIMS system workflows. Following the discovery phase, the UX endeavor was approved to begin using our research findings to reconstruct the ePIMS Order Entry workflows and redesign the Order Entry aesthetic.

Skokie Park District

In late 2016, I led a team consisting of two other UX Designers to conduct UX research and evaluation on the Skokie Park District website. With the results gleaned we generated various UX deliverables, a homepage redesign, and overall estimates for Skokie to use to submit an RFP for development work on their website.
